received a few calls from a 269-768-2622 number, but now i'm getting this 616-980-1151 calling me non-stop too. Apparently they're both from around Lake Michigan area. I have no idea how the f*ck they got my number either because I'm registered on the Do Not Call Registry. I haven't answered, but they haven't left messages either. Last night, I found an option on my phone to "automatically reject" these numbers, sending them straight to voicemail. Since then, the calls have gone up. Seems like they're desperately trying to scam me.

I'm the wrong girl to try to scam. I'm the most skeptical un-trusting b*tch that will give you a piece of my mind in a hot instant... Harassing people with these stupid calls trying to screw you over should be a crime. Someone needs to do something about it. I just wish I knew how...

Bottom line, don't answer and if you can, put them on your phone's reject list. They'll have to give up sometime..

These people are driving me Bananas....They call 2 or 3 times a day. Once I answered and the message from the lady was similar to one of the above about I had been awarded $140 dollars in gas credit but they would like to send me something else and I could always cancel if i didn't want to continue. I told them I was 73 years old and that nothing in life is free and it was a gimmick and I wasn't interested....They still call. There is also another number that has been calling from MI. Probably the same location, just a different number. Where they got my number I don't know cause i am suppose to be on a no call list for my cell phone.

I have been getting calls from this number for about two months now. I finally answered to see what the deal was. The represenative went on to explain they know I've recently made an online order and because of that I am eligible to be sent a gas card along with other discount brochures. she advised I could use the gas card with no strings attached and I have no obligation to call and cancel anything because they were not signing me for any programs. However, there would be a small shipping fee of 2.95. and she went on to verify my city and state and the last four digits of my debit card! I was baffled that she had access to this information. I advised her not to send me anything and there better not be a charge on my account for shipping. I work for a bank and every day I speak with customers who fall into these scams who agree to pay for "shipping" but then later start seeing several charges on their accounts for things they haven't even heard of!

I did not agree to anything and if they charge even the 2.95 shipping on my account I will have my bank file fraud charges and they will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I tried to call back to speak with a manager to give them my two cents, but calling back the number only gives a recording. Through the recorded options I found a number to call 866-217-6866 but it just gives a busy sound. Bottom line DO NOT ANSWER!

Called 2x's today, and once yesterday. Gave different company names every time. Said I won a $100 gift card for using my credit card (they gave the last 4 digits of one of my cards) as a gift from the company I made my latest purchase from. All I had to do was give them my card number and they would charge me $1.95 for shipping the gift card. When I questioned what company they were calling on behalf of, they wouldn't answer. I told "Angel" she was full of it, and she laughed and hung up on me.
