I received the text message about a citi card. I went to the wwww.citicards.com account and that looks like it could be legit but I wouldn't trust to so log in. I went to my actual card where there is a CitiCard and everything looks fine, no activity. So this must be a fraud.

received message at 9:22am central time? how about everyone else? where are you guys located? like most I was planning on calling but wasnt sure how ligit because I have never received a message like thism from Chase in the past 7 yrs I had been with them.

recieved a text message tht said: message.center@citicards.com? citi cards. please call us immediatley at 1877-284-0654 regarding recent restrictions placed on your account.

Says that my "Citi" card has been compromised that that restrictions have been placed on my account, says to call 1-877-284-0654. Have had similar messages from the same number regarding a "Chase" account.

Yes i received the txt message saying about recent restriction on my chase account. I tries to call back but it was busy at my first call then i tried it again, & asking to enter my account number so on. The line sounds different, so idecided not to do this, i checked this number & i was right this was a fraud. Same thing happened to me on my email that i gave my info so i changed everything right away bec it was a fraud. Be carefull about this!! Dont just give info right away.

Left text message to call about a restriction on the account. Looked up number and found all of these complaints. Did not return call.

Just received the following text message:
"message.center@chase.com / CHASE. Please call us immediately at 1-877-284-0654 regarding recent restriction placed on your account. Thank you. /"

I called Chase and they said that it was probably fraud. The email address is also invalid.

Text message from message.center@chase.com / CHASE reporting restrictions on my account? I do not and have not banked with WAMU or Chase in over 12 years. Nice way to wake up on a Sunday morning.

Sent me a text message on my cell re: restriction placed on my account. Left telephone number and website: message.center@citicards.com. I do not have a citicard.

1-877-284-0654. Same thing as those above, i.e., please call immediate regarding recent restrictions. SCAM.

I received the same text message asking me to call about the restrictions recently placed on my account. I have never had a Citi account.

Also received a text from "3595" saying it was from the message.center@citicards.com/CITI Cards. Said to please call us immediately at 1-877-284-0654 regarding a recent restriction placed on your account. I closed my citi card account years ago so I was suspicious.
